HR - Dignity at Work

  • Category: Employment and Workforce
  • Date: No current presentations
  • Times: 9.30 - 4.30

To provide information on the organisation's Dignity at Work/Bullying and Harassment Policy and to encourage discussion on standards of behaviour and responsibilities of all employees.

It is very important for all staff to be fully appraised of the required standards of behaviour in the workplace. It is not sufficient for the organisation simply to provide written policies and procedures for staff to read; policies must be carefully communicated through training and briefing sessions, in order to ensure that everyone understands their obligations. Employers must foster a climate of mutual respect in order to ensure that the dignity of everyone is preserved and to protect employees' health and wellbeing.

  • Have reviewed the impact of their own behaviour and discussed how to challenge unacceptable behaviour in others
