Event details: Many people have requested a robust and practical qualification programme for line managers who want to use a coaching approach to managing performance and developing potential in their team members. Responding to those requests, North West Employers are running an Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) Level 3 Programme starting January 2010. This programme gives delegates a nationally recognised coaching qualification. There will be four workshops (over four days) covering the key aspects of using coaching within a line manager/team leader role. The programme includes:-
Further details: This will be a highly practical and interactive course which increases managers' competence and confidence as workplace coaches. Delegates will have the benefit of peer learning and one-one tutorial support. There will also be the opportunity for some of the learning, supervision and continuing professional development to be done via teleseminars and webinars to maximise learning opportunities, and support the practical application of coaching skills into the workplace. There is a practical learning assignment required as part of this course. Facilitators: the programme will be facilitated by Lynn Scott and Lois Burton, North West Employers' Associates.
