Minutes of meetings trigger actions and are an essential part of the audit trail. Notes need to be taken during meetings which can then be used to produce the minutes. Many people find the task daunting and attempt to write down everything that is said. This makes producing accurate minutes very difficult and time consuming.
This is a practical course designed to develop skills and confidence.
Impact/outcomes
- Understand some ground rules essential to the effectiveness of a meeting and look at some common problems found when taking and writing up minutes.
