Event details: This course aims are to define and discuss what training needs analysis means. It will consider the skills needed, and the importance of paying attention to the whole training process whilst understanding the advantages and different levels of evaluation.
By the end of the course participants will be able to state the stages of a training needs analysis; be able to describe at least three methods of data collection and analysis; know the stages of the training process; and be able to select appropriate methods to evaluate training programmes.
Further details: The course will involve some trainer input, exercises and group discussion to explore the use of training needs analysis and of evaluation. TDLB Standards: this module will provide underpinning knowledge and understanding for NVQ Units B22, E23 and E31.
