Peer Support Pool Event

  • Category: Personal/Core Skills
  • Date: No current presentations
  • Times: 2.00 - 4.30

Event details: The North West Peer Support Pool is a register of equality officer practitioners and managers who are able to offer their expertise to officers from other local authorities who are seeking to improve their own and their authority's performance in the area of equality diversity. It is about working with others to share good practice, transfer knowledge and to ‘lighten the load'. This workshop will help you to improve your skills and confidence, so that the ‘critical friend' support you provide to others is appropriate and a ‘best fit' for the situation.

Further details: **As part of the Equality & Diversity Gateway, this meeting is free of charge. However as this programme is funded by NWIEP, non-attendance on the day will be charged at £50.00 + VAT to cover administrative and venue costs. All charges will be reimbursed back into the Gateway Fund. Cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before the event without incurring a charge.

Who should attend: The workshop is open to all who have registered to be a member of the Peer Support Pool, through the Equality Gateway.
