Event details: Delegates learn how to structure impromptu and lengthy speeches. They are encouraged to write in simple English, speaking their message aloud before committing it to paper. They are introduced to various wiring techniques to stimulate and captivate an audience. Delegates will be taught various professional speech-writing techniques. They will then undertake exercises in order to put their newly acquired skills to the test.

Further details: By the end of the course participants will:

  • Know how to structure a speeches, devising a satisfying beginning, middle and end; 
  • Understand how to form sound bites; 
  • Write in spoken English; 
  • Be able to make their subject matter feel immediate; 
  • Be introduced to various methods in order to make their speeches punchy and entertaining; 
  • Know how to deliver a powerful take home message.

Who should attend: Those who are expected to speak in public and those who write for public speakers.
