Equality Act Public Duties

In April 2011, the Government is planning to introduce regulations for specific equality duties, which will apply solely to public bodies. These duties will underpin the general public sector Equality Duty and will help local authorities better perform the Duty.
This workshop will explain what the new duties mean for local authorities, and will help officers and members plan for changes in improving performance in equality and fairness in light of the Equality Act.
