North West Employers and the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) are jointly hosting this workshop for North West councillors. This important piece of legislation will have big implications for decision makers. The workshop will be an opportunity for councillors to hear from the EHRC about some of the main provisions contained in the new legislation. It will also coincide with new guidance from the EHRC on how to make sure that ‘due regard' is taken of equality issues when making budget decisions.
