With climate change constantly in the news it is imperative that councillors understand the requirements placed on their councils to tackle climate change and how to manage these.
This half day course will look the climate change national performance indicators and your policies and strategies that must include climate change. It will look at dealing with potential strategic conflicts and resourcing and external funding that may be available. It will discuss the role of LSP partners and how authorities can communicate their climate change work to all stakeholders.
