Improve your awareness and understanding of community cohesion and develop skills for more effective partnership working.

This course will provide an understanding of the definitions of community cohesion and look at some best practice comparators.  You will examine the role of community leadership within the context of community cohesion and working with other partners.  Councillors will gain an understanding of the latest policy developments and initiatives, findings and recommendations on integration and cohesion and will discuss and share tips for effective partnership working with organisations and also with all sections of the community. Integrating community cohesion into your strategic approach and planning will also be covered.
