In your capacity as community leader this course will enhance your leadership role by taking a practical view of the leadership skills and styles required to effectively carry out your role.
The course will focus on the language and behaviours associated with various leadership styles for effective community based leaders and discuss the importance of using feedback to influence leadership skills. You will also identify strategies for putting effective leadership into practice.
Who should attend: Councillors. This course is also suitable as an induction module for new councillors.
