As a female councillor would you like to develop your mentoring skills?
This course will look at developing skills and a support strategy to attract and keep female councillors in public life. It will consider the role and skills of a mentor in getting the best out of people. The course will look at the mentoring context, prepare mentors for their role, assist in building rapport and relationships, help you understand how people learn and overcome barriers to learning and look at ways of measuring success.
If you would like to become a mentor then this course is for you and will provide a defined formalised process to ensure a successful relationship.
