Event details: this half day event will provide an opportunity for councillors to explore changes in the arrangements for safeguarding of children introduced by the Coalition Government and examine the proposals made by Professor Eileen Munro in her report which was commissioned by Tim Loughton, Under Secretary of State.
Further details: councillors will share ideas and experiences of what the issues are for local authorities in responding to these changes and take take account of issues currently facing public services. You will explore responsibilities for safeguarding and links to other partner agencies.
An information pack will be provided to all those who attend.
