Event details: Speak off the cuff - we all do it but do we do it effectively? This course will help councillors learn how to quickly structure an effective short speech. You will be taught and encouraged to use many vocal and professional acting techniques in order to give an impromptu performance energy, authority and polish.
Further details: The course will explore how best to beat fear and self-consciousness and you will consider how professional speakers handle speaking off the cuff. We will discuss the best approach to the presentation of self when giving a brief speech and identify appropriate stance and voice techniques to any given speech.
