Event details: This one-day course has been designed for supervisors and managers to help prepare and assist them in the fair and effective handling of discipline and grievance matters at work.
Upon completion of the course participants will:
- Be able to identify conduct and grievance issues, and be familiar with the procedures for dealing with each
- Have an awareness of legislation relevant to each area
- Understand the role of the individual manager/supervisor and be able to adopt a systematic and fair approach in seeking to resolve discipline and grievance matters
Further details: Formal input will be kept to a minimum with emphasis being on case study and group discussion. Natural breaks will be taken during the morning and afternoon sessions as the opportunity arises.
