Handling Tricky Training Situations

  • Category: Specialist Skills
  • Date: No current presentations
  • Times: 9.00 - 4.30

Event details: Every trainer experiences really difficult situations in the classroom. What makes the difference is how those situations are handled to best effect; so that the delegates obtain the maximum benefit from the course, and you come out shining rather than with egg on your face. This workshop provides the core knowledge and skills required to manage effectively individuals and groups who may deliberately, or inadvertently, cause a difficult situation in your session. It shows you how those situations can be handled diplomatically and professionally without causing offence or turning the delegates against you. This workshop also takes into account the types of organisational issues that we may face and the impact that this can have on individuals and groups prior, during and after the day. It also focuses on the willingness of managers to co-operate and how strong a training ethos we have within our own organisation.

Key benefits: - Understand the barriers that individuals or groups may have surrounding the learning environment, Share ideas and best practice training principles with other delegates, Identify different personality types and how to deal with them, Learn how to detach yourself from difficult situations, Practice and receive feedback on real life delegate scenarios, Transference of your skills into the workplace with immediate effect

Further details: HR specialists, training professionals and managers who have responsibility for delivering training and who want to understand more about handling tricky individuals and group situations.
