Executive Board

This is the decision making and executive arm of the organisation. It is also responsible for determining the rules of the organisation and its finances. Please click the link below for the rules.

North West Employers' Constitution

At the annual meeting each year an Executive Board is elected made up of representatives from each of the five geographical regions. Membership of the Executive Board comprises of eighteen elected councillors, as follows:

• Chair, Deputy and 2 Vice Chairs of North West Employers (4)
• 1 representative from each County Council (2)
• 3 representatives from Lancashire and Greater Manchester geographical areas (6)
• 2 representatives from Cumbria, Cheshire and Merseyside geographical areas (6)

Note:
(a) at least one representative from a unitary authority on the following
(b) a representative from each shire county council
(c) if not already represented by at least one member, one representative from each of the minority political groups as defined by the Executive Board.
