In the current climate with staff and budget cuts it is important to develop in house provision so that essential learning and development can continue.
The workshop is designed to increase knowledge, skills and confidence in designing and delivering learning activities.
Each person will be asked to design, deliver and evaluate a short learning activity on day 2 and will receive one to one feedback from the tutor.
Participants will experience a wide variety of learning methods and techniques during the workshop which provide a sound basis for developing in house development activities.
NB If wished day 2 individual learning activities can be recorded for viewing after the workshop.
Impact/Outcomes
1. Describe the trainer's role in staff development
2. Write learning objectives to meet an identified learning need
3. Design, deliver and evaluate a short learning activity
4. Explain two ways of managing difficult training situations
This workshop can be delivered in one day as a refresher for experienced in house trainers.
An additional day can be offered if required to support and assist participants in developing in house programmes or learning modules to be delivered in house.
