Personal Coaching

Coaching is often seen as a deficit model, a way to fix things, but the most effective use is for people who are already high performers. A coach engages with an individual to work through the issues that concern them and help them achieve their full potential.

Our approach to coaching is underpinned by core values which include:

  • People take responsibility for their own learning and actions
  • Real learning happens at the boundaries of what you know and what you don't know
  • Real learning requires a commitment to explore new ideas and different views of the world

Our view is:

  • Coaching deals with our internal dialogue and our beliefs about how we influence the external world
  • Coaching works best where there is commitment from the coachee to develop their self awareness and take responsibility for their own learning and actions
  • Coaching is, by its nature, a challenging process as it asks you to question your preconceptions of yourself and others
  • Coaching requires a willingness by both coach and coachee to experiment with new ways of doing things and new behaviours

Our coaches come from many different disciplines and we will help you choose a coach that suits your needs.

Your own organisation may already provide internal coaching to support individuals and you may wish to explore this option first.

We have a pool of trained coaches from organisations across the region and a team of experienced executive coaches.
