Coaching Skills - Supplementary Workshop

Foundation Level European Quality Award & EMCC Recognised

  • Category: Accredited Programmes
  • Date: No current presentations
  • Times: 9.00 - 5.00 each day
  • Cost: £935 members of NW Employers/£1213 non members + VAT
  • Venue: North West Employers, Manchester

This supplementary workshop has been designed for those who attended the three day ‘Manager As A Coach Programme' that North West Employers offered in conjunction with PB Coaching.

This two day ‘top up' is recognised by the EMCC (European Coaching and Mentoring Council) as a Foundation Level EQA (European Quality Award) programme which is the equivalent of the five day programme ‘developing organisational talent through coaching' which we offer to senior managers.

Delegates on the workshop will have the opportunity to revisit the theory and practice from the first programme and discuss their subsequent experience of coaching conversations at work. Under the heading of 'working in the-here-and-now', delegates will explore additional coaching skills and the important capability of offering support and challenge in coaching conversations.

There will be a strong practice element on the workshop, with a coaching conversation demonstration from a tutor and coaching conversations in small groups with feedback from tutors. There will also be an opportunity to discuss taking the learning from the programme back into the workplace.

Delegates will be required to complete 15 hours worth of coach practice outside of the course and submit a Learning Assessment File detailing their learning over an agreed period of time to gain recognition by the EMCC and EQA.

Optional Accreditation

The Chartered Management Institute (CMI)

Participants are eligible to gain another internationally recognised qualification awarded by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) by attending this programme. This is a Level 7 award in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring. Those wishing to apply for the CMI award would be required to complete a 3,500 word professionally focused assignment and pay an additional fee of £250 plus VAT which covers the CMI fee/accreditation.

NOTE: This workshop is for those who have already attended the three day manager as a coaching programme.
