About the Workshop:

North West Employers and the Equality and Human Rights Commission are jointly hosting this half day workshop for North West HR officers. The Equality Act and the Public Sector E quality Duty have big implications for decision makers and for the way we manage and develop our workforce. The workshop will be an opportunity to receive an update on important developments, look at developing case law and act as a signpost to other guidance and resources.

Expected Outcomes:

  • provide an update from the Commission on the Act and Public Duty
  • help you to ensure that your authority is legally compliant and carrying out good practice
  • ensure that your authority is putting fairness at the heart of what it does in its employment practices
