The Joint Negotiating Committee for Chief Officers provides a handbook of terms and conditions of services and guidance for the determination of local pay scales.

The handbook, updates and circulars relating to the agreement are held together on the Local Government Employers (LGE) website and all local authorities can register for access to the information.
