Health and Wellbeing

Recent reports have highlighted the significant contribution that an effective health and wellbeing strategy can make to an organisation's performance.

Following a series of successful conferences, we are now putting in place a range of initiatives to support the promotion of health and wellbeing within authorities, which includes:

  • Briefings to management teams and audits of existing policies and procedures, including line management interventions.
  • Production of ‘A Practitioner's Guide' to include good practice case studies and ways to construct the business case.
  • A joint conference with Health and Higher Education sector partners.
  • Joint working with Manchester Metropolitan University to conduct research on measures of wellbeing and building a business case for well-being initiatives.
  • Joint working with Investors in People to see how we can support their new Health and Wellbeing Good Practice Award.
