Consultations

As your representative voice for the North West we liaise with and undertake consultation to present the region’s viewpoints to the Local Government Association. This ensures the views and opinions of our membership organisations are central to national bargaining decisions, policy developments and government proposals for legislative change.

Pay agreements

Our role in the national pay negotiation process is to support the development and delivery of national pay agreements across the various local government pay bargaining groups, working alongside the National Employers who lead the formal negotiations. This includes facilitating and coordinating consultation processes with relevant stakeholders to ensure informed input and alignment.

We provide regular updates throughout negotiations, alongside expert advice and interpretation of proposals, terms, and outcomes. In addition, we maintain access to both current and archived pay agreements, ensuring transparency, continuity, and an informed approach to pay-related matters.

Job Evaluation & Equal Pay Audits

We conduct pay and rewards research, and hold a wealth of intelligence, to support our membership with their pay reviews, JE and management reviews to attract and retain talent and encourage employee engagement. Including legal implications such as equal pay, the national minimum wage, national living wage.
