Neurodiversity Network
Our Neurodiversity Network offers a safe, collaborative space for neurodivergent colleagues and those championing neuroinclusion in the workplace, to share experiences, exchange ideas, and explore how we can best support neurodiversity across our organisations. The network also seeks to improve line-management and leadership knowledge and capabilities by equipping them with the tools and understanding to manage neurodiversity effectively, whilst fostering a positive workplace culture. Through regular sessions and shared resources, the network empowers colleagues to embed neuroinclusive practices that enhance wellbeing, performance, and employee experience.

EDI Network
“The North West Employers EDI Network is a collaborative forum that brings together councils and public sector organisations to advance equality, diversity, and inclusion across the region. Meeting regularly via Microsoft Teams, the network hosts events featuring expert speakers and provides a space to explore the refreshed North West Employers EDI Charter. This charter acts as a practical framework for organisations to assess themselves, build inclusive cultures, and ensure accountability. Sessions focus on key themes such as anti-racism practice, the Worker Protection Act, and strategies for creating inclusive workplaces.
The network delivers significant outcomes by fostering a shared community where members exchange innovative ideas, address challenges, and celebrate progress. It drives organisational change by keeping participants informed about evolving legislation and sector expectations, while strengthening leadership commitment to embed EDI principles into policies and practices. Additionally, it supports organisations in preparing for EDI Charter accreditation through shared standards, tools, and peer support. Overall, the network empowers regional EDI leadership by promoting collaboration, equipping members with knowledge, and enabling equitable outcomes across the North West public sector.”
